Ugadi always meant an elaborate lunch , Ugadi Pachadi and New cloths . In Andhra Mamidikaya Pulihora ,Bobbatalu / Bhakshalu (Puran Polis) , Vadas and various types of sweets are prepared on Ugadi. But this year our Ugadi festive meal was simple as my daughter and my husband was not having holiday.

- Mamidikaya Pulihora (Mango Rice)
- Khus Khus Payasam
- Masala Vada
- Rasam
- White Rice
- Vadiyalu
- Curd.
